Gaz Whelan & I met on Twitter not so long ago. We got chatting about topics we are interested in, anyway i messaged Gaz a couple of weeks ago telling him about an idea i was working on, encouraging people who may struggle to express themselves vocally, to start writing.

Gaz very kindly agreed to support my new project, in fact this is a song he has written. Enjoy!!!

Paper Moon…

What you said today

it took my breath away

a country mile of hate

a curse that lies awake

All I ever see

is such insanity

of global fantasy

a ruthless parody

I thought I’d make you laugh

forget about your past

those days were overcast

but the future never lasts.

This disappearing world

that ghost in every church

when  clarity unfurls

we see the  devils work

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I CAN’T BREATHE

JUST LET ME BE…

AND THANKFULLY, LIKE A MORNING BREEZE

I WILL RISE THEN LEAVE.

A sunny golden hour

impregnates every flower

the shadows dive then cower

coz I’m alone again

The tenderness of night

brings a unison of light

the clouds begin to fight

then dance to make you smile

That’s natures alchemy

that brings me to your knees

like a river finds the sea

it should end happily

The passing of my time has not been very kind

my head has lost it’s mind

and I’m alone again

You said that you could feel

all that I revealed

an empty golden field

of hope and tragedy

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, I CAN’T BREATHE

JUST LET ME BE…

AND THANKFULLY

LIKE A MORNING BREEZE

I’L RISE THEN LEAVE.

It always ends too soon

that’s gods way I presume

like a lonely paper moon

we shall rise …then fade away.
