I am 52 years young and just a couple of weeks before my 50th Birthday celebrations I found a lump that appeared from nowhere. Little did I know at that time how my life would be as beautiful as it is today 
I am a mother of a beautiful, strong, caring daughter and a wife to a supportive, loving husband. Most of my days are taken up with our big daft pooch Hector. The three of them; my rocks, soul mates, and best friends.
I am a barber by trade and a dab hand with a cut throat razor, however my barbering career was cut short by the effects of chemotherapy – excuse the pun. I love to fund raise and help others less fortunate than myself, like the time myself and my girlfriends stripped off one Sunday morning in a beautiful cottage garden to do a topless calendar. To say we got lots of beeping and horn honking would be an understatement! But more importantly, I am glad we made a few people smile that morning.
I believe we should empower each other, be as positive as we can, cry when we need to, reach out if we are not okay, and learn how to talk. Communication is the key!
I never lose, I either win or learn.
The blogs that you can find on my web page are real accounts from my journey, things that happened, how I felt at the time, and how it effected the people around me. If these posts reach out to just one person and motivate them to keeping fighting, my work here is done.
